This shell was picked up from 90 Mile Beach, Northland.

It had been weathered, yet despite all the odds it remained whole.  Through the sun, surf, sand, and wind all shaped the shell as it is today.  Its beauty to be enjoyed and admired.

This necklace was cast in sterling silver and is on a sterling silver chain.  It represents the weathering that we are exposed to throughout our lives.  While the shell is fragile being cast in bronze gives it strength and longevity.  We too have our friends, family and mentors to strengthen our spirit and the challenges we face shape us.  We do not have faults, we have beauty in our survival and the markings that life has given us.
